For many years this blog has been our way to give you a glimpse into the activities of the Qualicum Weavers and Spinners Guild. The format has limitations and we decided to replace it with a proper web site that will support better communication. The web site came on line in early 2024 and so we have decided to discontinue this blog.

Since we started the blog many changes have occured. The guild moved from the attic of an old via train station to Qualicum Commons.
We now have a well equipped studio at Qualicum Commons, where we hold workshops and meetings.
Our membership has increased dramatically and interests have broadened. We now offer classes in felting, basket weaving, dyeing and knitting in addition to spinning and weaving.
We still enjoy engaging with the public and can be found at local events.
